A prototype on line cost control system was developed to analyse costs and revenue for 900 equipment items, monitoring real time financial and maintenance performance of equipment items and equipment groups against various KPI's. 

Used by client to identify financial under performing equipment units and root cause analysis.

Developed process and financial models to:- evaluate return on investment, perform sensitivity, process and financial risk analysis and project evaluation as support to company bidding on $20m Broken Hill Pty Ltd Briquetted Iron Facility owner operator tender inquiry.

Developed financial model to determine financial KPI's (IRR, ROI, NPV, NOPAT), risk assessment for various plant performance scenarios capital, transport and additive costs contract lives etc.  Extensive sensitivity analysis of effect of individual cost components on IRR.

Investigate reasons for plants poor availability. Identify causes, develop solutions. Perform Cost Benefit Analysis and recommend corrective actions to management. As a result of implementing the recommendations plant availability improved by 20%.

Logistics study performed on movement of approximately 13,000 items from overseas suppliers to 87 warehouses throughout Australia, intra warehouse movement, customer supply of items to determine optimum location of proposed new warehouses.
